The 9000 Pavilion Poor Cosmetic Resolution Cord HP Laptop Screen is a replacement display for select HP Pavilion 9000 series laptops. This screen is designed to fit into your existing laptop chassis, providing a convenient and cost-effective solution for those experiencing issues with their current display.
Despite the "poor cosmetic resolution" in its name, this screen still delivers a respectable 1366x768 pixel resolution, which is suitable for basic tasks such as web browsing, email, and document editing. However, it's important to note that this screen may not provide the same level of detail or clarity as a higher-resolution display, so it may not be ideal for tasks that require fine detail, such as graphic design or video editing.
The screen measures 15.6 inches diagonally and features a TN panel with a 16:9 aspect ratio. TN panels are known for their fast response times and wide viewing angles, making them suitable for gaming and multimedia applications. However, they may not offer the same level of color accuracy or viewing angles as IPS or VA panels.
The screen is connected to the laptop via a VGA cable, which is included with the purchase. This means that it does not require any additional hardware or software to install, making it a straightforward replacement option for many users.
In terms of cosmetic condition, this screen may show some signs of wear and tear, such as scratches, scuffs, or discoloration. However, the screen itself should still function properly and deliver a clear image. It's important to note that this screen is not a brand-new display, so it may not look as pristine as a new replacement screen.
Overall, the 9000 Pavilion Poor Cosmetic Resolution Cord HP Laptop Screen is a cost-effective replacement option for users looking to upgrade their existing display or fix a damaged screen on their HP Pavilion 9000 series laptop. While it may not offer the same level of detail or clarity as a higher-resolution display, it still delivers a respectable 1366x768 pixel resolution and fast response times, making it suitable for basic tasks and multimedia applications.

I just needed 2 keys and a speaker but I did not rob this laptop of these parts. Everything still there.
The hinges are there but broken. This laptop is great for someone who needs a motherboard and a lot of other Hp pavilion dv900 parts. Now the problems as you can see, the screen has this pinkish color, i'm not sure what's causing this but it does no effect the way the systems operates, all of the icons that are on the screen works great with just. I set everything back to factory setting.
It works but the cord will not come out, it's wired directly into the power inlet or connector. I did a factory reset on this laptop and now it works like new. The screen will open and stay on place but the hinges are not is the best shape.
It's stuck in the off position. There is some tape in the area where the DVD drive should slide in place. You can see the worst damages in the images. I didn't attempt to fix any of these issues.
The keyboard does have all of the keys. When I got home with it, it would power on and start loading different screens on it's on and I really didn't want to waste time with trying to figure out what all was wrong with it. The actual screen is not cracked or broken in any area.
I just needed it for a few simple parts which I never removed. The body is not in good shape, it looks as if it's been tossed around or dropped several times. It's lit up orange so it's not in the on position. It could be fixed and it could possibly make someone a great laptop.
The power cords looks as if someone attached it to the area where the connecting and the cord meet so i'm assuming it's hot wired some how. It powers on and off with now problem, it's fast, it still has all of the factory programs such as Microsoft task etc. Whatever the problem was,by resetting it back to factory settings did the job. The WiFi switch is stuck and I really don't know what's going on with it.
I decided to buy the parts for my laptop and leave this one as is. I'm sure someone can used this one for all of the major working parts. Hp pavilion dv 9000i bought this laptop used and just for the parts.
